Total Dance/ Dancical Productions, Inc.

A cultural-musical-dancical experience


  Total Dance/Dancical Productions, Inc. is a 501(c)-3 non-profit dance production corporation dedicated to positively impacting people's lives through the presentation of arts education and entertainment.  Founded in 1985 by Terrie "Ajile" Axam, Total Dance/Dancical Productions Inc. is the medium she uses to present dance, the performing arts, and entertainment as meaningful tools of communication while celebrating life, health, and the African-American culture.

  Classes, workshops, and performances, conducted by highly skilled professionals, include but are not limited to: Mojah (the 20 year old technique created by Ajile, based on Modern and West African dance forms), African, Modern, Jazz, Ballet/Pointe; Drumming, The National College Tour Production: Fusion: from African to Hip-Hop, The signature production: Women Hold up Half the Sky and National College Tours.

At Total Dance/Dancical Productions we:

  • Conduct over 700 classes (for children, teens, adults, and professionals).
  • Produce 3 major productions.
  • Honor over 20 community requests
  • Fulfill over 5 national requests for performance and/or workshops a year.
  • Honor a minimum of 1 international presentation every other year.
